Becky has been drawing since she was two years old. She
states: "I have always known I wanted to be an artist. I had my first solo
show when I was in the 2nd grade." She earned an Associate degree in
Arts from the University of Wisconsin, and has been working as a freelance
illustrator since about 1981.
Becky resides in Wisconsin, where she loves working on rubber stamp art, and
creating designs for greeting cards, magazine articles and children's books.
She has a teenage son, and has been married since 1981. She also has two
cats and a parrot named Rainbow, who tries to help her work.
"Animals have had a lot of influence on my art. I love the innocence that
shines from animals eyes. Once you capture that in a drawing, the design
comes to life. The eyes are the most important part of my drawings." |
Becky began working with Third Coast in 2005, and she is the creator of
our baby dragons, Delbert and Delsey.
