About the Stamps:
In Egypt, writing one's name in hieroglyphics ensured immortality.
Wearing a cartouche brought power and protection.
A cartouche is an elongated shen -- Egyptian symbol of eternity -- which
represented the elliptical course of the sun around the world. The cartouche
traditionally contained the hieroglyphic name of a pharaoh.
We will work with you to carefully construct your personal cartouche. Your
name will be represented phonetically with the appropriate Egyptian symbols, as
accurately as possible.
