Winged Cat Domino Pin
by Stephanie Loomis

Image used: CH-523-M, Winged Cat

1. Use Galaxy Gold Brilliance ink (Tsukineko) to stamp image onto black shrink plastic (Lucky Squirrel)

2. Color the image using a Dove blender pen and Pearl Ex mica powders (Jacquard) Use a heavy hand with the colors, as the top layers will brush off after shrinking.

3. Bake shrink plastic according to package directions. Let cool.

4. Paint a domino with fuchsia and purple Luna Lights (Stamp Oasis). Be free with motion and allow the paints to dictate the design. Cover domino edges as well.

5. Lay winged cat (now shrunken and cooled) on top of painted domino. Using a heat gun, soften the shrink plastic until the edges curl around the domino. Let cool.

6. Ink a practice domino (or one not suitable for use because it is cracked et al) with black dye ink.

7. Lay amethyst and purple Angelina Heat Bondable Fibers (Meadowbrook Inventions, Inc.) Cover with parchment paper and set with iron (according to manufacturer directions.)

8. Secure fibers to backside of domino pin.

9. Add a touch of Dimensional Magic (Plaid) to cat wings. Let dry completely.

10. Finish by gluing a pin finding to the back of the domino.
