Designer's Challenge
Image used: KC-001-K, Ellette Elf.
Directions: Cut a piece of glossy cardstock 4-1/4" x 5-1/2". Put 2-3 drops
of Adirondack Butterscotch ink and 2-3 drops of Adirondack Cranberry ink onto
applicator. Add a couple of drops of alcohol ink blender. Streak
from top to bottom of cardstock. Add more of either color directly to the
cardstock if desired and streak again. Allow to dry. Stamp Ellette
onto another piece of glossy cardstock with StazOn ink. With markers and a
blending pen, carefully color in the open areas of the stamp. When dry,
cut out image along outside line. Mat with a piece of black cardstock cut
1/8" wider on the sides and top and bottom. Cut a piece of black cardstock
5-1/2 " x 8-1/2." Fold in half. Attach card front to card base with
double-sided tape. Add alphabet stickers (ProvoCraft) to spell the words
"Thank You" below the matted image.
Image used: VW-022-N, Ocean Blue.
Directions: Stamp Ocean Blue onto glossy cardstock with StazOn ink. Allow
to dry thoroughly. Using watercolor markers, carefully color the image.
Use a watercolor blender to blend the colors. Mat image onto purple
cardstock and trim to 1/8" larger than image. Cut another piece of purple
cardstock 5-1/2" x 8-1/2". Fold in half for card base. Cut a piece of
print paper 4" x 5-1/4". Adhere to card base with double-sided tape;
centering it on the front. Adhere matted image to card front with
double-sided tape, placing it slightly above center.
